Where to start…

Hello, I am Sharon and I have cancer. I am 59 years old. The cancer started in my right breast and now has spread to my spine and other parts of my body. We live in the Sunshine state, Florida. Ed and I have been married 31 years. Together we have a son that is married and has a little girl, they live next door. We also have a daughter that is still at home with us. I have a daughter from my first marriage, and she lives in NJ with her husband and two children.

I am writing about this healing journey partly for myself, and to bring hope and encouragement to others facing a storm in life they never expected.

My strength comes from YHVH (God), His shalom (peace) fills and comforts me when I can not go another step.

Come along and share this journey, this healing journey with us…it may not always be pretty, but it is my life…maybe sharing this will help someone else one day…that is my hope…that I can be a blessing and encourager to others..

Buckle up…here we go…

Our decision to defeat cancer naturally is a costly endeavor. We would not have been able to get this far without the help and prayers of so many people. Each $1 has been used for items needed on the journey to healing. I am thankful for each person that is praying, and those that helped us by donating funds to insure I have the things I need to stay on this path. Insurance does not cover any of these costs. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help us thrive and do all that I need to do…I choose life…

I still have a long road ahead of me, and the need for assistance is great. Thank you for being a part of this journey with me.

I need to warn you…cancer is ugly…some things that will be shared may be graphic and upsetting but it is important that people have the whole picture. I will not candy coat things. I will be blunt and honest.
